Hi!
I'm in the middle of building a new PC from old and new. Got myself an Athlon 64 2800+ CPU on an ASUS K8V mobo with 512mb Ram.
I put in my old agp video card but now the monitor wont switch on. The light goes on but there's no signal going to it. I hear the harddisk starting and the CPU fan works....
The card I am using is an old Creative 32mb AGPX2.
In the mobo manual it states the it supports 8X/4X AGP. Does this mean it wont support 2X? Is this why I cant get a signal to my monitor?
Do I need to get a new graphics card?
