Intel 82801BA/BAM SMBus Controller [Archive] - The PC Guide Discussion Forums

Hello,

I've just upgraded a Win98 workstation to W2K but am left with an annoying problem in installing the correct driver for the Intel 82801BA/BAM SMBus Controller.

My problem is that I simply cannot locate the driver for this anywhere.

The motherboard is a CUSL2 with 128MB RAM, 866Mhz processor.

Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions/solutions for a resolution to this??

Try these links to Intel's site. I Believe the driver for the Bus Controller is included with the chipset drivers. You need to make certain what chipset that you have. There's also a chipset driver installation utility. Hope this helps.
