WAN What do I need?

There are 4 to 5 PC's throughout my house.
I have Cable receiving 100Mbps.
My modem is hook up to one of my Cable TV outlet the only other connection is my TV. There are several connecting points available.
All my PC's have an ethernet card installed, do I need a router for all the PC's ?

Yes, you need a router for all of your PC's.

Note that I did not say you need a router for each of your PC's. Just one that will handle them all.

You'll either need a whole lot of RJ-45 to run through your house to each of the computers from the router or you'll need a wireless router (and wireless cards for your PC's).

I wonder what you mean by many connection points available? Does the modem have mutiple RJ-45 ports?
