Hello everyone :)

I own some medical software that I want to run from my hard drive so I do not have to put the CD on the CD-ROM. First I tried copying the entire CD onto my hard drive, and then I installed the program from there (the hard drive). To my surprise it still asked me to put the CD in the CD-ROM. I did not know how to change the path to the hard drive since the entire CD was there. When I install some of my software it does not give me the chance to select if I want to run it from the hard drive or not. That is part of the problem. So is there a way to run it from my hard drive. I do not mind uninstalling and re-installing it if you have any ideas on how to do it.
Thank you so much for your time,
Gino1010

Sounds like you need a Virtual Drive (http://www.farstone.com/home/ensite/products/virtualdrive.shtml)

Farstone's works very well and I guess there are others out there that other peeps might want to recommend.

Found a freebie at http://www.circleofone.com/ but no experience of using it.
