Some of you may know I'm studying for my CCNA and Security+ certification.
As always, I go trawling through the web looking for explanations and resources, and have been beating my head against the wall trying to understand stuff like Kerberos.
Anyway, a search on google threw up some good sites (including those from MIT), and I've also come across a new site which has some really good explanations.
The site is partially interactive, with demonstrations that use VBscript (you click a button and kerberos 'builds' a reply or key etc, andthe site appears to be well thought out.
Some of the site is designed for use in a classroom (some of the links are labelled 'only available in class' but the rest is there for everyone to look at.
I've only looked at the kerberos section so far, which I found useful. I'm going to check the rest of the site out as well.
I gave some feedback on the site, and the perosn who runs it has said it's fairly new, so the search engines aren't picking it up immediately, but I think it's worth a look if you are studying network security.
The URL for the main site is:
http://seeingnetsecurity.com/Intro/SNS_Course_Intro.htm
The URL for the Kerberos demonstration is:
http://68.124.28.90/dgnet/KerbySims/KB_Authen1/Seeing_Kerby_Authen.asp
