Projector Slides

Hi All,

Hope this is the wright place to post this.
I have some old family slides that we used to show on a projector. Is it possible to scan these slides on an ordinary scanner and save them on my hard drive.

It may be possible, it probably won't be satisfying... There are photo scanners available that will do this and some flatbed scanners come with an attachment that will do it... It requires light to be sent through both sides of the film if I am not mistaken... I also has to be scanned at a pretty high resolution to get it clear enough to approach the projected analog slide....
