View Full Version : any new Walkie Talkie service in USA

hey guys ...
my work place is 2 miles away from my home.i have to contact in my home but i dont wanna pay for it.. i am searching something which cover more distance . do u know any Walkie Talkie service which cover more than 2 miles?..plz inform me....

There are walkie talkies that advertise a 5 mile range (maybe a little more). But most of them say in small print "line of sight - may vary based on terrain." Which basically means that if you go outside and if our spouse/child/other goes outside and if your house is on the same street as your work and if the street is straight with no curves without a lot of big trees in front yards in between you... (boy, that's a lot of and if's), THEN they'll prolly work well enough to carry on a conversation.

but i dont wanna pay for itWould you explain a little better what you mean? Nextel has a digital walkie-talkie connect I think they call direct-connect...

hmm... there r many...but may be dingotel would be effective for u with low cost .........u can take look at on .....(spam removed) :)

I heard they will provide Nationwide and worldwide two way radio push to talk service……….and the most excited matter …….they will not make u any charge for that :)

thats a grt news.really they dont charge for their service..?..i am waiting for starting their service.what will be the range of their 2 way service..?.any idea about that?...
