Are any of you out there a tradesman? I am a master plumber and I am just disgusted with service calls. People expect you to craw around under their houses where there is often times raw sewage, snakes, rats, and black widow spiders. The worst part is when you bill them for a fair market rate, they squawk! If they did not want to pay, then maybe they should do the work themselves! (I can picture a home owner crawling around in 6" of raw sewage) I have also seen this with HVAC, and electricians. I just wish people would realize how dificult our line of work is. We tradesmen try to do a professional job and do it right because there are health risks involved if the work is done improperly. So please be gratefull that some of us actually take a state exam and secure a license to try to keep you comfortable and safe.
I hope I am not breaking any forum rules, that is far from my intent, I just want the public to see things from a different perspective
