Yikes!!!! You mean you're supposed to disconnect the cables before moving a Computer?
No wonder every time I try, the thing gets yanked out of my hand and hits the floor as soon as I get about 5 or 6 feet away!
Although a G5 is a pretty strange Animal with everything built into the Display. Not many cables to disconnect.
I like this line the best:
Pick up the iMac G5 by grasping both sides of the computer. Carry it to wherever you wish.
I would hate to think there are certain places I couldn't carry it. (Swimming?)
Hehe...thanks for the info.
Pretty funny :p :D

Scary thing is...... There are people out there that actually need this information. :p

I went to apple store to look at one and it is pretty but still a mac.
with my luck I would tip it over and break it that way.

Gee, the last Mac I had I threw in a dumpster. Best place for it, it didn't work at all though. You said something about cables. . .? There should've been some kind of wires huh? Well, whatever, it's in its next life now (probably one of those envelopes they put airline peanuts in. . . ) :D

Scary thing is...... There are people out there that actually need this information. http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/tongue.gif About 90% of them are iMac users. The other 10% aren't iMac users because their iMac is still sitting on the door step because instructions for picking up the carton and taking it inside the house were not on the box.

Half of that 10% are VERY close to being iMac users...
They've decided to take a chance and carefully grasp both sides of the box even though there is nothing specifically that states that is the proper way to do it.
However, a real dilemma now. :(
They're just standing there, puzzled, wondering how the heck they are going to open the door to get back in with both hands full.

The box dilemma is something that would happen to me, which is probably why I don't use a Mac

I don't have a problem with Mac's. There are a few applications where they really shine. What I do have a problem with is snobby, holier-than-thou Mac users...
