connection problem

my internet keeps reseting on my tower but when i connect the internet to my laptop it works perfectly it goes on then stops it wont complete any downloads i dont know whats going on.

You need to provide more information.

How do you connect? Broad Band or Dial-Up

Does the system freeze or re-boot?

Does it only re-boot when you use Internet Explorer?

Does it re-boot if you let it sit w/o going on line?

It could be a heat related hardware problem or it could be a malware/adware/virus problem.
