my computer is missing system operation, How can I fix this???? Please help

We have to have a bit more than that to go on. Please explain the problem in more detail, and include some system information so we'll have a good idea what we're working with.

In the meantime, on a hunch, I'm transferring this topic to System Troubleshooting, where I think it may end up being more appropriate. Check there, give us more detailed information and we should be able to help.
