Just shuts off....

Ok please someone help...My computer just shuts off with no warning, and cannot be turned back on unless you unplug then plug it back in...Everything seems to be running ok but after about 10 min use...off it goes...what do you suggest i try?

How long has this been happening?

How old is this system? (Is it still under warranty?)

Computer not a year old yet, had it built by a friend, all teh fans sem to e running well, have replaced he cpu fan, I have a 300 watt power supply thats still is spinning, but could bu going bad...not sure

Did you use thermal paste on the CPU? Some systems just shut down if it gets too hot.
