Avast Flagged Virus - Cannot Remove

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. I was running a periodic scan with Avast and it flagged this as a virus. I had Avast delete it, rebooted my computer and ran the scan again and there it was - still not deleted. Can someone please tell me what this is and how I can get rid of it? Is it really a virus or just a windoze process Avast thinks is a virus? Below is the path for the virus file and I've posted an HJT log too.

I don't see anything bad in your log....

I suggest running one or more online virus scans and see what they pick up...

Thanks Budfred. I ran bitdefender and it came up clean. I guess it's just one of those windows processes Avast did not recognize.

Those items are in a ZIP file and it is possible that BitDefender just doesn't see them there... I would try a HouseCall online scan and I would certainly be careful about opening that ZIP file... Actually, I would probably delete it... Dummy.class is associated with a few nasty items, but I am not sure if this is one of them...

May I suggest running your AV from Safe Mode. . .? If it comes up clean then that would seem to be one more indicator that AVAST is either indicating on a process or perhaps a file with info about something it reacts to as a virus (name of a virus for example).

Did you recently download anything new? and did you disable your AV b before you installed it? To avoid having my AV mess with installations, after download, but before installation, I always:

1. log off the net

2. Disable the firewall (just in case), disable the AV and end-task it with ctrl-alt-delete.

3. Then click on the installation
