I have just built a PC from old bits I had around the house approx 3 years old which worked OK before I dismantled it. It has 64MB SDRAM,2.6 GB Hard Drive,IBM/Cyrix 6x86 PR233 Processor,Floppy Drive, AT motherboard. This PC will be for my daughter to do homework on and I probably will install OS W2K or W98 SE.
When I connect and configure everything, I get no beep from internal speaker , no display on the monitor and also monitor appears to go into standby mode.
I have checked and double checked everything.
Can somebody give me some advice...
