Hey guys.
I am studying for my CCNA and have very specific questions about equipment and such. Does anybody know of a decent free Cisco forum as this one does not seem to deal with the subject much?
THanks, FH

I'm sure you're already aware of the obvious (http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=xx-bork&lr=&group=comp.dcom.sys.cisco). (If not, there's a reminder. ;))

There is one here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/equip,cis), but they are not as well behaved as PC Guide forums.
:p

What questions do you have? maybe we can help? hey routed you might want to correct the CCNP home lab portion of you link as the 1900 switch if it has an enterprise OS it uses the same CatOS as the 5000 series switch (uses set commands), and there are no 2500 series switches they are 2900 series and the 2924-XL-EN would be the one for the CCNA lab as it uses IOS and relatively cheep. for CCNP and CCIE you would need a 3550 for multilayer inter-vlan routing labs. 3550 SMI ios can do basic routing ie.. RIP, EMI IOS needed for PIM (multicast) routing and BGP/IS-IS/advanced routing protocols.
