I need a format for Word that appears like a typewriter, that is, where every space--whether it is a letter, a punctuation mark, or a space is the same size. What is that called and where can I get it? Also, if I have a paragraph in which each line is one space staggered from the other will it save that way? That is, if the first line has 25 characters (in the above mention format) and the 2nd line 24, 3rd line 25, fourth line 24. . .can it be saved that way, so that it comes back that way ? (Don't ask. . .)

Sounds like you want to use a monospaced font like courier.
(Don't ask. . .)

You know I have to. :D

What do you need to do? :p

1. Okay, a monospaced font like courier, but how do I actually get it on the screen functioing like that?

A monospaced font should automatically function on the screen that way.

Another font that appears to be monospaced based on my observations is 'Lucida Console'.
