This is concerning the computer I use at work, but I can't get on the Internet with it right now, so I'm sending this from my home computer.
The computer is a Dell Optiplex GX150, with Windows 2000 Professional. I should also tell you that I have not installed anything new on the computer recently, nor have I done anything different.
This occurs at any time without warning, all I have to do is click on something
(from a program to the control panal, to shut down windows):
I recently started getting the "Blue Screen" with the following message:
Stop: 0X00000050
0XF3FB8010 (this is the only one that changes it's numbers each time it does this), 0X00000000, 0Xf58B5074, 0X00000000
Page Fault in Non-page Area
Address F58B5074 at Base F586E000, Datestamp 00000000, G400DHD.DLL
Begainning Dump of Physical Memory
Dumping Physical Memory to Disk, (then it starts a count from #1 and goes to #100) Then it re-starts. Sometimes I can go for an hour or so before it does it again and sometimes it's only a matter of minutes before it does it.
When it first started doing this I decided to do a Windows Repair with my emergancy repair disk, I ended up re-installing Windows, I then had to go in a fix a few things by adding the right drivers to them (my printer, my Audio, my PCI bus, and my modem which is a HCF 56k PCI) now I don't think this has anything to do with the blue screen but who knows sometimes. Everything worked after I added the drivers, no yellow exclamation marks, even on the modem, but it will not let me make my Internet Connection now. I don't have a disk for my provider, I usually just go and do it through the Internet Connection Wizzard, but when I try to set it up it gets me through Step 3 - Name for the dial-up connection" and no matter what I put down for the name I get an error message saying "Not a Valid Name". I then tried to set it up by going to Internet Options/Add, but the moment I click on add I receive this message "Cannot load the Remote Access Connection Manager Service, Error 711". So then I went to Administrative Tools/Services and the following were stopped, and when I tried to restart them I received error messages:
Internet Connection Sharing - Error 1068, Remote Access Auto Connecting Manager - Error 1068, and Remote Access Connecting Manager - Error 5.
Like I said I have no idea if either of these are connectedm but you never know. Any help anyone can give me about either of these problems would be great, I'm spend too much time at work fooling around with the computer. And without being able to get on the internet, I'm pretty screwed. Thanks
