Windows Xp Pro cd

is there any kind of protection on the windows xp pro cd's. i wanna make a copy of it and would like to know if it will install properly after making a copy of if. i know new games out right now have protection on them like safedisc 3, does xp have something like that on it?

No actual copy protection, no. Just anti-piracy measures (the Product Key and WAP).

First thing I do with an installation CD is to make a copy of it. The original and a copy of the cdkey number gets locked away safe from being scratched or whatever and probably never goes into a drive again.
