I can,t get into yahoo chat, I downloaded java and still hasn,t helped, so now yahoo chat says I need microsoft VM, so I went to www.microsoft.com/java and I can,t find where you download it, can someone please help me, I have internet explorer 5.0 and windows XP, I would appreciate the help thanks

Umm... No you don't. XP ships with IE6.

I don't think you can dl microsoft vm anymore - part of that whole antitrust deal. Get the real thing (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp).

Actually I think that if in ie you check under tools [top taskbar] options advanced that you can still turn on Ms vm even if you have installed the real deal [java]. Pent, is right thougfh as Java 1.5 is much better and secure.
Ms will not do any upgrades or fixes for their vm but will do security for another few years.
