Just fitted 128 Ram.It shows on start up memory counter but still showing 16 mb memory in windows performance under system.Does this mean that windows is not recognising the new memory and therefore not using it?.
If there is a problem with windows not reading/using new memory how can I solve it?

Are you letting Windows manage your virtual memory?

Chances are that your motherboard won't read the particular type of memory you have put in there.
Read your motherboard manual to see if you have the right memory. If the BIOS doesn't see it right, then Windows probably won't either.
