Hi, running XP Pro sp2 with two belkin 54g pci cards, and trying to set up a peer to peer network. simple huh?
Anyway, ive set the network up following belkins instructions and using their utility - and both machines show the wireless network to be 100%, they are exchanging small packets, both have 169.... ip adresses etc. great.
but, on 1 machine, i can see the other in network places/workgroups. when i try to click on it, or look at properties, i get "permission denied", and something like network path no found.
On the other, i see nothing in the wokrgroup, but the machine is on the network.
any clues?
I was sort of assuming once these "plug n play" cards were installed that I could browse theother machine as if it were just another drive
I did try to set it up with the windows utility - but that did not work at all.
Any help or ideas much appreciated.
