monitor goes yellow

hi

i have a Time monitor which now turns the screen a yellow colour for no reson what so ever this can last some time before it changes back to normal, i've checked the cableing and all seems fine.
has anybody got a suggestion besides never buying a Time machine again

Yellow usually means no input from the PC. Try it on another PC before you do something drastic.
