That is a goodly load of garbage, are you asking for help?? I would start with standard scans, including CWShredder... Ad-Aware SE will take care of a fair amount... Do you know about the NewDotNet uninstall protocol?? You may need LSPfix, but I would get rid of NewDotNet first...

Fill me in on the nest way to get rid of Newdotnet.

Mostly concerned with New.net as I know improper removal can cause problems.

Ad aware found over 1000 critical errors/problems and fixed most of them and that should take care of mostly everything.

Wintools will NOT uninstall via add/remove programs. The popups/illegal operations iwth IE make it all but unusable. Firefox works ok but still has the occasional illegal operation.

I just wanted you to look it over before I attacked it as this is a real mess.

Did you see anythiung else obvious in the HJT log?

Uninstall new net from Add/Remove programs,. If there is no entry for it, removal instructions can be found on the newnet website (http://www.new.net/help_faq.tp#p4).
Then the usual Adaware spybot etc. Then post a fresh log.
Wintools needs special treatment, but it will be easier if as much as possible is removed first.

Ad-Aware SE seems to be killing WinTools at least some of the time... Make sure it is fully updated... If it doesn't, it will have to be turned off in Services and there is a fix for that....

As for obvious problems.... CommonName jumps out big time in this log... A touch of CWS and a whole bunch of one shot stuff.... Once you get to where you think you got most of it, post a fresh log and we can check it over....

Win Tools sets itself up as a service, and must be disabled before anything else will work. Try to kill the process and it restarts itself instantly.

Go to Start\Run and type in services.msc, scroll down the list to Win Tools and disable it, then use Add Remove Programs in Safe Mode to remove it. The Win Tools folder in Windows Explorer is probably write protected, change the Read Only attribute and you should be able to delete it. I think it's found in Program Files, but can't remember for sure, I haven't had to remove it in a couple of weeks...I've cleaned Win Tools off a dozen customers' computers, it can be a real pain to get rid of...and by the way, disable System Restore before starting, XP probably has made at least one restore point since it was infected, System Resore will put it right back, so shut it down, reboot and restart it to remove the infected restore points.

It looks a lot better... I would still clean these up:

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

And I would delete BackWeb:

C:\Program Files\KODAK\KODAK Software Updater\7288971\Program\backWeb-7288971.exe

..and by the way, disable System Restore before starting, XP probably has made at least one restore point since it was infected, System Resore will put it right back, so shut it down, reboot and restart it to remove the infected restore points.

I don't like to argue with one of our esteemed moderators, but I would leave the system restore alone until the computer is cleaned up. If something goes pear shaped during the removal process, an infected restore point is better than nothing at all. At least you can start cleaning up again, but if there is no restore point, you could end up have to doa repair install, or, worst case, a complete reinstall.
Just my opinion.
