Hello, I just recently moved to Germany, hooked up my pc and received "CMOS checksum error: defaults loaded". I replaced my cmos battery but same error pops up. It will not boot up, can someone help me.
thanks in advance
matt
Reset CMOS with a MB jumper(see your MB's or computer's documentation for the correct jumper), and check for a virus.
If no good, then the MB may be bad.

Sometimes just going into COMS and "Save , Exit" would solve that problem.

Reseat everyting in the case a few times and make sure you do not inadvertently disconnect any cables in the process. Moving computers frequently causes this, parts get bumped around and oxidation causes faulty contact.
