Out X-mas shopping today, wandering through the electronics section past the X-Box display I noticed that the guy playing was irritated about something and complaining.
So I look at the screen and lo and behold, the mighty X-Box has crashed...frozen solid right there in front of me.
Just out of curiosity, I watched for a few minutes as everyone tried to rectify the situation to no avail...
Now is that a quality product or what?

Truth in advertising laws would suggest that rather than in ELECTRONICS, they would have to be retailing them in the APPLIANCE area of the stores...sales folks could just direct them over to the Freezer section! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Maybe they meant "ice" box rather than "X" box! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Hey it's Microsoft http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif The first version can't work right, else there would be no reason to buy a "new and improved" upgrade.
An upgrade which boots faster, stalls less and shuts down twice as quick. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hehe. Yeah don't go for the X-Box(Uh oh..wonders if the console war will take place). My cousin brought over the Gamecube that he got for Christmas and that thing was great, not to mention the most compact console I've seen http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif. Anyone looking for a great console should check it out. Stunning graphics, plus it's cheaper than PS2 or X-Box. Don't get me wrong though, I really dig PS2.

The most hilarious thing i saw from MS lately was during the official rollout of XP; on 10/25 i went to an XP Expo for their " official " public demostration of their newest and best OS ever! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
Imagine over 500 professional/semi pro and average uses howling with laughter when XP not only crashed twice, but also refused to install several applications " specifically " designed for it! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
