Your log looks clean to me. If there is something there, I don't think it's causing a major slow up. You are not over-riun by malware. How much did Asaware find? Did the AV show anything. How much RAM? When did the slow-up occur. How long after SP2 installation.

1. Adaware only found 1 item
2. AV found nothing, AV is updated and ran nightly, hasn't found anything as long as I can remember.
3. RAM=512
4. Slowup started about a week ago, no major software or hardware changes since then. SP2 was installed days after it came out.

Really has me baffled, I'll keep looking on this end, thanks for looking at the log so fast.

Jason, that's just too weird! I'm a volunteer EMT-B in a small town handling about 250 calls a year. Glad to hear EMS is properly represented on the forum!

This looks awfully suspicious:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.pcguide.com/vb/

:D :D :p :p :D :D

But seriously... There isn't anything there that looks bad... You could try TrojanHunter and/or run a StartupList Log in HJT...
