Hi Guys
I've had a bit of a slow down in both my connection and PC over the past few weeks. I've check my ISP and they have no problems. It would be great if someone could cast a quick eye over my log.
I'm using a XP Pro, on a 433.
Also on another point, does Spider work with XP??
Many Thanks

The version of Hijack this you are using is very outdated. Please download the latest version from
here (http://tools.radiosplace.com/HijackThis.exe), and then post a fresh log. It may well show more.

First, you are running an outdated version of HJT. Please download the latest version here (http://www.subratam.org/?page=removal)

Secondly, you did not post the entire log so unless you do, it will be very hard to help you.

Make sure you install HJT into apermanent folder. DO NOT run from the temp folder. It will be harder to restore backups from there.

Nothing obvious in your log. Have you tried deleting all temporary internet files etc?

I have cleared everything that both spider and adware allow. I was thinking about reimaging my boot drive, but if your can spot any thing out of the ordiniary I might leave it alone.
Thanks for taking the time at least.

Spider does not clear your temp file. It zaps the index.dat files.

You are better off with Eraser 5.7 (http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/download.php)
