My last 2 PC's that I built I used the existing stand offs and attachments to secure it to the Case/ all these parts were from various PC grave yards.
But I needed the experience in building and learning more in how to build and then trouble shoot them until they function at 90 to 98%.
My question is I am ordering from New Egg some of the hard ware and components, to build one of the high end PC's.
All items will be new. But for the attachments necessary to attach the Mb to the case, do they come with the purchase of the Mb or the cse or do you have to buy them separately?
Thank you

usely they both come with screw and stand offs in my experence. More often that not when I build a whole new computer I have a good hand full of left over screws.

I just got a new case delivered today, and it has all the standoffs and screws that I will need. None with the mobo. But plenty with the case. Mobo came with cables and custom backplate.

Some mobos come with stand-offs or other mounting hardware, but most don't. Most cases (and all retail cases) come with a whole box/bag full of mounting hardware! I've still got enough hardware from my cases to mount several mobos, and my "graveyard" collection is more still. You'll also get screws and other hardware from parts like optical drives, PSU's, and fans. You can get screws with hard drives, too, but you have to buy retail hard drives! Who wants to pay retail prices when all you need is the drive?
