Do you know what the key sequence is to get into the BIOS setup? to reload the defaults? to save and exit?

You might need to reload the default values and since you can't see, you'll have to do it blind...

Yep tried that but it hasnt worked.
although the cdrom is accessed I think its just cos it gets power at that stage.
The cpu fan has gone quiet as well,I dont think its doing anything but I dont know if that happened just before, during or after the flash update.
and finally bios upgrade although for same laptop was the incorrect upgrade. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

Does this unit have both the Cd and floppy deives or are they swappable?

If swappable find the correct download, create a bare bootdisk (basically just the system files no need for all the things like fdisk etc on it), then put the flash program and BIOS file on it, you may have to create an autoexec file that calls the flash routine...swap to the floppy, insert the disk and let it run...wait about 5 minutes, then reboot.

yep its got both
I tried with a cdr that i wrote on my full blown PC but that didnt work I think the only reason it appears to find the cd drive is cos the cd drive gets power on bootup
Is it possible to do a flash rewrite from another pc to the laptop via the card?
