Hi folks. I passed my A+ exams today. 830 core, 670 os. I'm real happy with the core score. I'll take the os but I'm a little disappointed with that one.

Congratulations Steve!!
I wrote my A+ back in late spring and my Network+ in the early summer and Security+ in late summer. I also scored a tad lower on the OS.
Gunning for MCSE now. Three tests remaining.http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/eek.gif

congratulations! Don't worry about getting a lower score on the OS - this is where most people suffer disappointment. The syllabus is supposed to be XP, but you can (and probably did) get oddball questions about NT, Me etc - no-one can know everything.
As with all these exams, it can help you with employment, but the number one thing I guess is that if you actually know your stuff you are better placed to actually get some work done without flapping, which is often what happens with people who just 'cram'. If you are comfortable with the knowledge you had to pass, then you now have a starting point from where to progress - you no doubt recognised where you were weak and strong.
It's a never-ending process, but for now you can take it easy for the Christmas holidays and be proud that you've achieved the A+! well done! :)

Good job Steve!
All these people passing their exams lately is very encouraging to me, as I am planning to start classes in the spring.

Glad you passed the test, but if anyone wonders if you actually know your stuff, just have them ask us. :D
