hey all,
i'm looking at upgrading my motherboard for my system, and am looking at getting an Asus P4P800S-X MB. Ive got a Asus P4B533 at the moment and a P4 3.06 Ghz with HT. Now apparently my intel chipset (i845e) isnt compatible with this mb, but on the Asus support page it states that my cpu is compatible with the new asus mb. Doesn't that mean the chipset should be compatible?
And if not, is there any way i can get around this without buying a new CPU?
