Win2K is similar to WinXP in that from Computer management, you can select unused space, and format it as a new partition.

Right-click an unallocated region of a basic disk, and then click New Partition, or right-click free space in an extended partition, and then click New Logical Drive.
In the New Partition Wizard, click Next, click Primary partition, Extended partition, or Logical drive, and then follow the instructions on your screen.

Hope that helps

Did you try this part
right-click free space in an extended partition, and then click New Logical Drive.
Taken from the Win XP help files. ( they also apply to Win2K.)

In what way do you want to use it? Do you want to install another operating system or just use it for storage? You could just format it and use it to store pictures, videos, programs and other things too. Just like a giant 'My Documents'.

Or you could install another operating system such as XP if you want simply by directing the install to that partition, after formatting it of course.

Start>Control panel>Administrative tools>expand "Storage" on the left>click "Disk management>Step 1>R-click "Unused space>Format>Step 2>R-click, create extended partition>step3>R-click, create logical drive ;)

Please say which of the partitions are logical partitions and which ones are primary partitions. It is still not clear if the final 10gig that follows the linux partitons is:-
(a) unallocated space outside of an extended partition.
(b) unallocated space inside an extended partition.
(c) an unformatted primary or logical partition
(d) a hidden formatted primary or logical partition - and if so what format.
(e) a normal formatted partition but with no drive letter - in which case all you would need to do is to assign it a drive letter.
