Hi,

I'm definitely interested in computer hardware and software (general curiosity about everything), but I am completely illiterate about all of it. Could anyone suggest some resources to help me wade in?
Currenly I'm looking through the PC Guide learning about the basic hardware and browsing the forums.

Thanks,

Seraph

Great place to start. TO learn about inside you PC, I read my dell manual and my hp manual. Then I learned everything.

two other great places for staying up to date with what is going on in hardware (and to a lesser degree software) today are:

http://www.overclockers.com/
http://www.tomshardware.com/

They discuss new technologies and hardware on a day to day basis. Great places to read up and keep up with stuff

Don't forget the PcGuide (http://www.pcguide.com/) itself. It hasn't been updated for a while, but most of the information is still relevant. Even if it still references 10GB HDD as being large. :D
