Okay, let me see now. My b day was yesterday. I have a $220 budget, (My 2 jars of change not included), and want a pda.
Not a high end one like my dad's CLIE UX50, but a good one to start off with.
Purpose-Pictures, games, music, sound, drawing, on-the-go entertainment, needs a built-in memory card reader.

I think hp's rz1715 is very good for me, despite it's' memory of 25 mb. No biggie, I have a 128 mb SD card. Found it on ecost for $218.
I really do not need wireless, but what do you guys think? If this is a bad choice, what should I get? Thank you for your kindness.

I don't know a whole lot about PDA's, but I was looking at the same HP model you were thinking of. I then thought about looking at Dell's website to see what they had. I went with the Axim X50 520mhz with Wi-fi and bluetooth for $339. There is a Axim X50 416mhz w/bluetooth and without Wi-fi for $254 . I'm pretty sure the integrated memory is better also, along with a newer OS version if I remember right. This one comes with a cradle, and the hp only a sync cable. I read some good reviews on the X50 and decided to go with one, for a little more money, it may last a little bit longer in this here today, gone tomorrow tech. world. We bought a bluetooth/usb adapter on newegg for $20 to try it out.

I can't get the hyperlink button to work, so here it is. http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/compare.aspx/pda?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

A little bit for you to think about. Look around and I think you can get a better deal for your money. Ours is supposed to be here tomorrow, so I will let you know how we like it. It didn't quite make it for Christmas.

I'd like to have one before the new year. I looked at the Dell, and their ship date was an estimated 1/6/05. A bit bulky, BTW0. I really have no need for bluetooth and wireless.

Nd my dad persuaded me to buy a digital camera instead. Looks like it is going to be a sony P73. I love sony cameras. The last one I used was a DSC- S85.
