Help Please on a Sony Vaio RZ 504

I'm considering buying this PC but got a couple of questions regarding its functionality.
Sony have discontinued it and are unable to help.
Does anyone have this PC that could help me out

I have this pc. It is a sure-fast, well built PC. The case is a bit short, but no matter. I've never had any problems with it ever since we've had it for a year and 3 months. Specs-512mb RAM< 120gb hdd, dvd-rw, cd-rom, and 2.8GHz ht. My reccommendation is that get an ht processor.
This Pc is very expensive, though. But iot has goodies, like gigapocket, built in memory stick reader, and yellow-white-red input cables.

various internet sites are selling it for £940.
The spec is 250gig hdd with a 3.4Ghz processor

Are we talking the same model here?

Ok hopefully you can help me with my predicament.
I dont know whether to go down the route of seperate pc and DVD recorder or to go down the sony route of combined.
Would the DVD recorder in the sony set up have the same functionality of a stand alone RDVD?
Do you kknow if you can copy VHS onto the HDD to then copy onto a DVD?
Also, does the TV ariel plug into the media center ?
