I need some help with buying a power Supply.
I have put together a computer with a 15" LCD monitor. The computer is for a Digital Photo Frame (hangs on the wall and displays slide shows). It is important that this unit be thin, so I am looking for a relitively low profile power supply but also one that would also power the LCD monitor (this would power on both units with the single on button).
I believe the problem is finding a power supply capable of around 65-70 watts of +12 volt power (power supplies I have looked at don't provide that much +12 power). I'm estimating that my computer (fans, MB, hard drive, CD-ROM drive) needs about 30 Watts of +12 volts and additionally the LCD monitor requires 33 Watts. A total of around 65 watts minimum.
In summary, are there any low profile computer power supplies that will power a LCD monitor in addition to the computer?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
