new system wont wake

Just completed a new system build. For whatever reason it wont boot. The only thing that happens is a yellow light on the ABIT KR7A RAID illuminates. It also has red and green lights with no documentation as to what they represent. I have dissembled it twice including changing power supppys and reseating the processor(xp1800), heatsink and cpu fan. Possibly the rounded 40 pin 80 connectors I'm using?

I think the first thing to try is check for a short or ground problem. Disassemble it and try it out of the case on a tabletop or cardboard, with only motherboard, CPU, memory, video card and keyboard.

If you get video at that point get some cardboard washers from a computer shop and install them between the standoffs and the motherboard, and some under the screws that hold the motherboard down. If no video at that point, let us know.
