asgning standard keyboard keys

Mistakenly I bought a German wireless keyboard on the internet. Living in the Netherlands and not aware of the undesired differences with US standard keyboard settings. I'm wandering if there is any software that allow me to adjust the asignation of (standard) keyboard keys.

Which version of Windows please. With Win2k/XP you should be able to change the Regional and Language Options from Control Panel. Under the Language Tab choose the Details button to make or add the changes. You can support more than one language at a time in these OSes and simply switch between them from the System Tray Icon. If that doesn't work I'm sure there is a Registry tweak somewhere that should do the job.

If you are running Win9X/ME I'm not immediately sure of what action to take - but let us know which OS first.
