I'd like to completely delete tcp/ip interface created right after connecting my computer to the internet...Is this possible ? If not, thanks for reading...If yes, please:
I don't like to see it there again, please show me, I'll do it immediately and tell you the result right then !!!
Thanks in advance

After logging on to the net, tcp/ip automatically creates a net interface for you (a lot of reg's), its impossible to delete it, just let it be what it is, no harm at all!
By the way, you look really great with that icon! see you soon again on board...We'll try to turn this place a great community! :D

Jim McCoy you're way out in left field here, start looking up the facts before you try to answer questions, spread misinformation around here and you will find me on your case big time.
TCP/IP is installed along with the OS, not after connecting to the Internet. The Internet functions using the TCP/IP protocol, without it you cannot get online.
TCP/IP can be removed, from the Control Panel, Networking section, but if removed must be reinstalled before Internet will work, and often a LAN will not work if it's using TCP/IP as well. A LAN can also run on a couple of other protocols, TCP/IP is not absolutely required for that, but Internet will not function if it is removed. Removal is sometimes required to fix connectivity problems but it is not often.
Mysteres: If you are having a problem with your Internet connection let us know. If not, leave TCP/IP alone, if you uninstall it your Internet connection will do nothing, not even connect.
We'll try to turn this place a great community!
It's been a great community for a long time, all you should have to do is try to help KEEP it that way.

Thank you Paleo, I dont have any problem with connection, the only problem I have right now is I dont know how long it would take me to solve this problem?
I guess it would be quite long! Making questions here is the only way I can do to solve my problems....I hope it will last forever so that I will treat computer as ajunk and DUMP it into the junkyard one day when I get mad
I know what Jim say about interfaces in regedit and those are interfaces that I am wanting to get rid of...Do you know wable hat ways to help me do this ? Thanks
