i have a asus p4g8x mobo and it says it takes 2100/1600 ddr sdram. i got 2 sticks of 512 kingston ram but with 2700 for christmas. will this be ok for my computer to use 2700 instead of 2100?
if so, will i see any performance changes or differences?

p.s. the 2700 kingston ram is the only ram i have, i dont have any 2100 at all.
thx for helping me out.

As Saphalline would tell you, DDR RAM is backward compatable, it will work at slower speed if necessary.

Also, Welcome to the PC Guide forums!!!!!
