I wasn't quite sure where to post this question, so please direct me if this is the wrong place:

The window that pops up when i press ctrl+alt+delete(what is that called again?) seems to be having problems. I can see the main 'applications' window, where it shows what software is currently running, but the tabs do not appear above it, so I can't access the Processes, Performance, etc. tabs. No 'X' button appears either, so the only way to close it is to right-click the System Tray icon.

Obviously it is a glitch of some sort, perhaps even a virus. What can I do to fix it?

Other info:
I am running Windows XP on a computer that I built a few months ago, and this problem did not occur until a few weeks ago when a game i was running froze up, and I pressed ctrl-alt-delete to terminate the program, the window appeared as described above, and has never returned to normal since.

THANKS in advance to everyone!

It's called Task Manager.

Go to the very edge of the window or into the corners and double-click.
