RClick on the CDDrive in MyComputer and choose Explore then RClick on the .wav file on the CD and choose copy.

RClick on the folder where you want the file placed on the HDD by using WindowsExplorer/MyComputer and then choose paste.

Paul, the instructions you gave me worked fine but I did not accomplish what I needed to do. Here is the scenario. I am trying to build a photo dvd with music in the background using Sonic MyDVD. One of the file extension required by this program is the *.wav file. The music that I downloaded is not a wave file. My 64 thousand dollar question is: In windows XP, after having the music on the hard drive is there a way to change or convert the file I have to wav file. I am sorry if am confusing anybody, but I need some help on this one.

why don't you search for converters which are used to change mp3 files into wave files like this one http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Convertors/MP3-To-Wave.shtml
