somthing is trying to dial out

ive just setup up a network, 2 nic cards crossover cable and two puter on win xp pro. i didnt install the drivers for the cards as xp sorted that, it all works ok no probs bar one and thats is my dialer keeps trying to dial out when im off the net. ive looked in all the places i can think of and still no go. your help is needed.

The first link will let you get "Anti - Spy" a wee program that will turn of those phone home settings in XP (about halfway down page)

The second link gives you a list of all the things that you can safely tun off. Also explanation of what they are. (I have my start up down to 16 and this includes my AV and firewall software. Works out about 8 instead of the 20 or so that is there by default. System running OK for teh past 3 days with this, only 3 more than my 98 setup.) Hope this helps.
