boot

I have a brand new system with no operating system yet.When I turn the power on all that happens is the fan blows,please advise this novice

GO to the forums page and hit search , type in no boot or something to that nature and you should find a abundance of info.

When you power up the system it should boot / post and give you a display of the bios loading.
Is this working?

No.only the fan comes on,no LED or beeps

Before you despair:

Try the really obvious first:

1) Is the monitor plugged into the computer?

2) Is the monitor plugged into an outlet and is it on?

3) Does the monitor work on a different system?

Check all the connections and try again.
