Well this is the After Hours club so I'll just answer the post.

There's been aerial photogtraphy available for awhile now and coverage is all over the planet. I realize terrorists could use some of it for violent reasons but removing all the technology would also hinder lot's of well meant intentions as well.

What needs to be done is stop the ability to make the weapons if at all possible. The satelite technology is not the villain.
