After installing Firefox on a Win2K, WinME and 3 WinNT computers on 1-13 everything was working fine. On 1-14 after hitting a gianormus snag installing HJT 1.99 on another WinNT workstation, I tried to post to the forum here and got the source page when I clicked on discussion forums. That was using Firefox. So I switched computers and the same thing on all...then I switched to IE and got the same result. I've deleted cookies, reentered the URL and get the same thing. I'm posting this from home (thankfully home still works right) now. Any ideas what might be causing this. It seems to be only this forum...all other sites I've gone to the frames work.

Your firewall or the network accesses got changed? What's the router? How many pc's on the network? Which one set up the router or modem?

Any exclusions in your firewall?

No change to firewall or net access. Lynksys router. 8 pcs on net. Win2K set up router. I'll have to check for any exclusions in the firewall...I'm not there right now and don't remember off hand.

bump...

I just wanted to bring this one up from the depths. Ladyhawk contacted me about her situation and I frankly have no answer for her. But I know someone here can help her... :)

Thanks for bumping this Steve...After reinstalling FF and rebooting on all machines (except the 98), I can access this forum on the NTs only, both in IE and FF. The Win2K and the ME are still unable to open this forum in FF but are working fine in IE. Not sure what changed. This is still a mystery to me.

Now I find that on the 2K and ME if I use the home page search link and search for 'discussion forums', I can click on the result and it brings me right here. I still am at a loss to discover why the home page discussion forums link brings up a source page.
