With my problem with defraging, I thought it would be a good idea to reinstall Windows over itself (WIN98SE) Not so. Now I am getting an additional error message that says a file BsUDF.vxd is either unavailable or corrupt. It suggests I reinstall the software or delete the file. I checked google and it seems to suggest a TDK driver. I don't have a TDK anything, just a Lite On burner and Creative CDROM. Can I safely delete this?
If it's corrupt, then use the 'Find/Files or Folders' utility to see which folder it's installed in, and uninstall and reinstall that software(assuming you have the install CD, which may be a Nero burning software product).
If you cannot find it with the 'Find/Files or Folders' utility, and the message appears during startup, and Nero appears in msconfig(go to Start/Run, type msconfig, click OK, click the Startup tab), then uncheck all items that have Nero in them, click OK, and restart.
Afterwards, if you have problems running Nero, then uninstall and reinstall it.
