Wow, it's been forever since I've been around here...

I have a quick question. A long while back one of the members started a resource site, which contained a massive CPU specification chart. Forgive me, but I don't remember who it was or the site URL. Can anyone pint me in the right direction?

Thanks so much and I'll try not to be such a stranger anymore.

Then there's one at Tom's Hardware (http://www17.tomshardware.com/cpu/20030217/images/cpu_chart.gif) and the Related Article (http://www17.tomshardware.com/cpu/20030217/index.html). Also just found This One (http://www.csgnetwork.com/cpucomptable.html) And yet another Here (http://www.just2good.co.uk/index.php?ITFrameSet.php?cpuTable.htm), that looks about the same...

That was me. You can find the site here (www.sheaiden.com). Forgive me, but the site hasn't been updated in awhile and so doesn't reflect the latest CPU's. My life and time on the internet is in a bit of an uproar at the moment, but I will endeavor to update the site as best as I can very soon.

Thanks for the replies! The charts I was trying to find are saphalline's.
Thanks again!

Awesome! You don't mind if I put a link to your site in my sig with the others, do you? :D

Oh, do you know anything about the GeForce MX4000? I noticed it wasn't on your video card chart. I only ask because I am currently looking into buying one or a budget system.

Sure, go ahead and add the link if you think our site is worthy. I should be making regular updates to it once I finish fleshing it out.

The MX4000 is notoriously difficult to pin down, and I don't think there's a single standard for that one from NVidia. I've seen core speeds from 200MHz to 275MHz, RAM speeds from 250MHz to 400MHz DDR, and RAM bandwidth from 32-bit to 64-bit to 128-bit (which I think was an error). It's all very ambiguous, but I do think the MX4000 is based on the GF4 MX 4xx series, it just isn't consistent.

I would recommend against it, personally, since "you never know what you're gonna get"! Save the chocolates for a date, and buy a GF4 MX440 or something for your budget PC.

Thanks for the advice! Now I don't feel so bad that I just couldn't track down any solid info on that card. What I had gathered so far seemed to indicate that it's a budget "in between" card geared for functionality rather than performance.

If I'm feeling adventurous, I may just pick up an Asus variant to test out because at least they're pretty cheap. If I like it that'll be great, if not, I'll be able to warn people against them.
