Not being familiar with Windows ME at all, I check out links for info when I see them, and just found this one. Making a Win ME Start Up Disk (http://www.duxcw.com/digest/Howto/software/windows/winme/startup/page1.html)
It seems that with ME, Microsoft has done away with DOS almost entirely, no Command Prompt Only option in the boot menu, can't restart in DOS mode, the only way to use DOS is apparently by running a DOS box from Windows. No option in the right click\Format menu to make a floppy bootable, the sys command only works on a hard drive with win ME already installed.
Thought I'd post this for those of you who have Win ME installed, since it might be of interest, especially to those like me who like to tinker around and see what happens. {Not advisable unless you know what you're doing and how to format/reinstall that puppy if you click Apply at the wrong time or delete the wrong file(s)...} Been there, done that http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

If you had everything...Where would you put it?
