Greetings y'all. I've always wanted to say this (and I'm only doing so because it seems to be true), but it's been a year and a day.

I have a problem with my new Athlon 3000+ 2.0GHz. It's only clocking at 1.01GHz in Sandra. There are suggestions to modify my VCore setting. It seems the cpu power is sitting at 1.1 v when it should be in the 1.45-1.55 v range. Thing is, I don't know how to change it. Please help.

Go into BIOS, and post what it has there for the CPU.

Ski - BIOS detects VCore voltage at 1.536.

The BIOS reading of the Vcore is likely correct. So then, what does the BIOS say about the FSB? If this is a new CPU, then do you also have a new mobo? Or perhaps the CMOS settings were reset to default when you installed the new CPU? It sounds like the FSB is back at the stock setting of 100/200MHz, whereas it should be at 333/400 (twice what it is) depending on what Athlon you have. I assume it's an Athlon64 Newcastle core?
